FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a nationally recongnised business based within the construction sector. The business are offering a salary range of £28-32,000 depending on experience study support private healthcare flexible working hours!

Suitable candidates will have experience of processing & maintaining Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger & Cash Book for an SME business previously, ideally using Sage. It would be an advantage if you”ve had experience of processing CIS / VAT returns also but this is not essential as it can be taught on your start with the business.

Duties Will Include

Effectively processing Purchase & Sales Ledger invoices onto Sage
Updating and cleansing information on the systems
Ensuring all invoices are signed off as appropriate by the appropriate line manager prior to month end
Resolving any queries as soon as possible, escalating to the Head of Finance if needs be
Reconciling supplier statements
Preparing the month end aged creditors list ready for the payment runs
Posting bank transactions onto Sage
Processing and sending out month end sales invoices
Supporting the credit control for the business
Preparing VAT / CIS returns (experience not essential)
